Flight Simulation Engineer (m/f/x)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • As an integral part of the Grob Training Systems team, you will work within the “Simulation” project division.
  • You will support and further develop this area on a software basis, both in development and application.
  • You will independently develop flight simulation systems, with a focus on modeling flight dynamics.
  • You will contribute to the advancement of existing systems as well as to the development of new systems and simulators in the fields of dome projection and VR simulation.
  • Within the team, you will actively contribute your expertise to additional internal projects.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in aerospace engineering or a comparable qualification

  • Specialization or strong interest in flight dynamics modeling and simulation

  • Experience with classical control theory and real-time C++ programming

  • Ideally, knowledge of numerical simulation using Python with NumPy/SciPy

  • Experience in flight testing is an advantage

  • Willingness to travel internationally on occasion

  • Enjoy working in an open-minded team within an established, owner-managed company with a start-up spirit
